Danielle- Certified Athletic Trainer

 

Danielle has been a certified and licenses Athletic Trainer for almost 10 years with a degree in Sports Medicine from Quinnipaic University. After graduating with her bachelors she worked with a variety of injuries, treating teams in the very competitive NCAA Division 1. After a few years of working on the field Danielle transitioned into rehab setting with a focus on outpatient orthopedics, treating all kinds of post surgical, pre-hab and everyday overuse injuries.

   


Anthony- Physical Trainer 

A rehabilitative specialist with a background in strength and fitness, Anthony is a NCSF certified trainer who utilizes his knowledge of movement and kinesiology to help patients not only recover, but move towards functional progressions. Having spent many years rehabilitating childhood injuries himself, Anthony works to pay it forward as a care provider with the education as well as the personal experience to teach our patients how to better themselves while avoiding any future pain or injuries. 

 


Stephen-  Exercise Physiologist

Stephen Proniewych is a certified exercise physiologist (EP-C) through American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). He strives to push people within their limits and beyond through functional exercise; including strength training, plyometrics, agility, interval training, posture correction, injury prevention and rehabilitation.He participated in the National College of Lacrosse League (NCLL) and led them to a national championship in 2010. At Salisbury University, he earned his BS in exercise science while also volunteering hours at a physical therapy clinic and personal training facility. He has been working in the physical therapy and personal training field since 2010, specializing in sports injuries and strength and conditioning, ranging from top level athletes to everyday people.

Abby Rivas - Exercise Physiologist

Abby is a certified exercise physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) with expertise in calisthenics, running, and weightlifting, which she practices in her own personal training. With her clients, she incorporates principles of strength and conditioning, functional training for preventive injury, mobility training, interval and circuit training. She has volunteered in several physical therapy clinics and worked closely with experienced rehab professionals since 2012, and has been a personal trainer since 2015. Abby strives to teach clients how to maintain peak physical health in an enjoyable and sustainable way.

Abby has competed in several powerlifting competitions hosted by USA Powerlifting as well as one with the Women's Strength Coalition to support the Ali Forney Center for Homeless LGBTQ Youth. Her passion for a healthy and active lifestyle was instilled at a young age by her father, a phys ed teacher, and it led her to eventually graduate with a BS in exercise science from Brooklyn College. A native New Yorker, Abby enjoys photography, travel, and drawing during her free time.
